Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary Viktor Szederkenyi visited Baku State University (BSU).

Rector Elchin Babayev hailed bilateral friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary.  Underlining the significance of expanding science and higher education cooperation between the two countries he emphasized the necessity of student and teacher exchange.

Highlighting the importance of strengthening cooperation between universities Ambassador Viktor Szederkenyi pledged the full support of the Embassy for the developing of the cooperation.

At the meeting the parties discussed conducting joint trainings, scholarship programs, joint researches on history, archeology and ethnography, organizing conferences and seminars as well as cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary, Hungary and NATO, Days of Hungarian Culture in Azerbaijan.

The parties have agreed on delivering lectures by Hungarian ambassador at Baku State University.
