The II Interschool Astronomy Olympiad for the students of the general educational schools (IX-XI grades), jointly organized by Baku State University, The Republic Centre for Children's and Youth Development under the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Education and Department of Astronomical Education of the International Union of Astronomy, will be held on April 23, 2022.

The main goal of the Olympiad is to increase students' interest in the field of astronomy, encourage public interest in this field so that more attention is paid to it in the education system, and creation of a competitive environment.
