The opening ceremony of the 3rd youth camp “In the Footsteps of History: Our Memory is Our Future” was held in Guba district, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the West Azerbaijan Community, Baku State University (BSU), the “ASAN Volunteers” organization, and the “Regional Development” Public Association.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Guba District Executive Authority Tariel Ibrahimov, Deputy Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ulviya Akhundova, Deputy Chairman of the West Azerbaijan Community Board and Member of the Milli Majlis Ramil Hasan, Head of the Humanitarian Issues and Youth Policy Department of BSU Ramin Samedov, Chairman of the “ASAN Volunteers” organization Anar Musayev, and Head of the Public Relations and Communications Department of the “Regional Development” Public Association Murad Gasimli.

Speakers emphasized that the idea of returning to Western Azerbaijan embodies a nationwide struggle for the state and people of Azerbaijan. They highlighted that activities in this direction continue systematically and purposefully within the framework of peace, international law, and justice. The importance of active youth participation in informing the international community about Azerbaijan’s fair and principled stance was underlined. Confidence was expressed that the intellectual potential and skills of young people will contribute to restoring the fundamental rights of compatriots forcibly displaced from Western Azerbaijan.
