Increase in Admissions to BSU’s Faculty of Journalism

The Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University (BSU) has seen a steady rise in its academic and scientific achievements over the past three years. Notably, for the 2024/2025 academic year, the number of students admitted to the faculty has increased by 3.4% compared to 2022/2023, with the admission plan 97% fulfilled.

The faculty has strengthened its international partnerships, establishing collaborations with Üsküdar University (Turkiye), the University of Journalism and Mass Communications (Uzbekistan), L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan), Sofia University (Bulgaria), and the Faculties of Journalism at St. Petersburg University and Moscow State University (Russia).

In addition to academic programs, the faculty actively hosts master classes, seminars, and practical training sessions featuring prominent media representatives from around the world.
