Information Session on Sustainable Urban Mobility Held at BSU
An information session on “Sustainable Urban Mobility: Past and Planned Work in Baku” was held at Baku State University (BSU), organized by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
Ramin Samedov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy at BSU, emphasized the importance of educational events in this field and highlighted the university’s social projects. He noted that initiatives carried out in line with the concept of a sustainable city have become increasingly vital.
Elmira Abbasova, Head of the Internal Communications and Events Department at AYNA, spoke to students about the development of micromobility infrastructure in Baku. She explained that promoting micromobility aims to enhance public mobility, reduce traffic congestion in the city center, and improve environmental conditions.
The session concluded with a discussion, during which students shared their views and asked questions.
