International Symposium Dedicated to Heydar Aliyev Held in Türkiye with BSU Participation
The sixth International Student Symposium dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the city of Bartin, Türkiye, co-organized by the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University (BSU) and the Department of Information and Document Management of Bartin University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector of Bartin University Ahmet Akkaya emphasized the role of Heydar Aliyev in strengthening Azerbaijani-Turkish relations and highlighted the importance of the symposium in promoting unity in the Turkic world.
Dean of the Faculty of Information and Document Management of BSU Alemdar Jabbarli noted that cooperation with brotherly Türkiye holds a special place in BSU’s international relations and said the symposium would further contribute to academic and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
More than 60 students representing various universities delivered presentations during the two-day symposium. BSU students Aziza Rahimova and Aydan Alizadeh also presented reports and answered participants’ questions.
The symposium program included a “Poster Exhibition on New Generation Library Services,” as well as visits to libraries and museums in Bartin and Amasra.
