Irek Khaidarovich Zinnurov, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Russian cooperation) in the Republic of Azerbaijan - the Russian Information and Cultural Centre in Baku (RICC) has visited Baku State University.

At the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev spoke about the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in the scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as cooperation between universities. He shared information about the activities of the Russian Center, opened at BSU by the Russkiy Mir Foundation.  “The Center plays an important role in promoting the Russian language, literature and culture among BSU students”, said Elchin Babayev.

Irek Khaidarovich Zinnurov, while welcoming the progress made   between BSU and Rossotrudnichestvo, expressed confidence in the expansion of integration.

The parties also exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, the development of double degree projects between BSU and Russian universities, as well as joint research projects.
