Today, rector of Baku State University (BSU), the head of the Azerbaijan-Japan working groups on interparliamentary relation, academician Abel Maharramov received the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Shusuki Watanabe. Rector informed the guest about the stages of development of Azerbaijan's first university. Rector Abel Maharramov expressed confidence that the meeting would give impetus to our relations, and noted the interest in expanding inter-university relations. Ambassador Shusuki Watanabe expressed his satisfaction that Japanese language and literature was studied at BSU, and promised to award the respective teachers.
