Vice-President for International Relations of Saitama University, Professor Seiichiro Nakabayashi  and Associate Professor of Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty Nagasawa Makoto visited Baku State University.

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev noted the importance of the meeting and stressed that the visit of Japanese scientists will give impetus to the further expansion of inter-university relations.

During the meeting the parties discussed a broad range of issues related to Azerbaijan-Japanese relations in scientific-educational sphere, including the  issues of double diploma, exchange of students and teachers, the creation of a museum of science.

Professor Seiichiro Nakabayashi  delivered a lecture on the topic “The role of nano-biomechanics in the prevention of cancer metastasis”.
