According to the report by Clarivate Analytics, the impact factor of the "TWMS Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics," co-founded by the Mathematical Society of the Turkic World and Baku State University (BSU), is 3.6. Currently, the journal's five-year average impact factor is 2.1.

The journal ranked 6th among 489 international publications indexed in the "Mathematics" category in the Web of Science database and 8th among 331 journals in the "Applied Mathematics" category.

To date, more than 290 articles have been published in 29 issues of the journal, which is produced by the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics at BSU.

In 2015, the journal was included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index database of Clarivate Analytics, and in 2020, it was included in the Science Citation Index Expanded database.
