Justus Liebig University of Germany and Naturalis Biodiversity Center will cooperate with BSU

Prof. Dr. Thomas Wilke, the Head of the Department of Animal Ecology & Systematics Justus Liebig University and Frank Wesselingh, professor at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center have visited the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU) to meet with the Dean of the Faculty Afet Mamedova and the Head of the Zoology and Physiology Department, Associate Professor Abulfaz Tagiyev.

The two parties discussed prospects for cooperation between Justus Liebig University, Naturalis Biodiversity Center and Baku State University.

The purpose of the visit was to develop the cooperation to study the impact of climate change on the ecosystem of the Caspian Sea and the unique biodiversity of Azerbaijan as well as the implementation of joint projects.
