Representatives from Korea’s King Sejong Institute recently visited Baku State University’s (BSU) Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The meeting included BSU’s Head of International Relations, Rauf Hasanov, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Aidan Handan, and the Head of the Department of Far Eastern Languages and Literature, Oktay Jalilbeyli.

Discussions centered on expanding cooperation with the King Sejong Institute and advancing Korean language education at BSU. It was highlighted that BSU’s Korean language program is conducted at a high standard, and the university places great importance on building connections with Korean institutions. The visiting representatives expressed their support for these initiatives and interest in exploring new formats for collaboration.
