Land Transport Agency Holds Information Session at BSU

An information session titled “Micromobility from Campus to the City” was held at Baku State University (BSU) within the framework of the “Year of Urban Development and Architecture,” organized by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

Speakers highlighted the role of micromobility in reducing traffic congestion, improving environmental conditions, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It was noted that Baku currently has 60.5 km of micromobility lanes, with plans to expand the network to 100 km, along with dedicated parking for scooters and bicycles.

Representatives of AYNA and Apar also spoke about ongoing projects aimed at developing infrastructure, enhancing safety, and encouraging micromobility use among students.

The session concluded with a discussion with students, followed by practical training on the use of scooters and bicycles.
