A master class titled “Sufi Phenomenology: A New Philosophical System of Our Time” was held at Baku State University as part of events dedicated to Science Day.
The event was organized by the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology. The lecture was delivered by Konul Bunyadzade, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Islamic Philosophy and Religious Studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology.

According to the scholar, this approach opens new intellectual horizons, creates a synthesis between spirituality and rational thought, and encourages the moral and intellectual development of individuals.
The speaker also highlighted the importance of studying Sufi phenomenology for those seeking a deeper understanding of human essence, the relationship between morality and reality, and the role of philosophy in the modern world.
The master class concluded with discussions, during which students had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the topic.
