Master’s Students Defend Theses under BSU–Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Dual Degree Program
Master’s students enrolled in the joint dual degree program in Maritime and Energy Law, implemented by Baku State University (BSU) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under a cooperation agreement signed in 2020, have successfully defended their theses.
The English-language program aims to train highly qualified legal professionals. Thesis defenses were held before a specialized academic board comprising faculty members from both universities.
A total of eight students participated in the defense process, including six from BSU’s Faculty of Law and two from the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The presented research was highly appreciated for its academic quality, relevance, and practical significance.
As part of the next stage of the dual degree program, graduates received their diplomas from representatives of both universities during BSU’s Graduation Day ceremony at the National Gymnastics Arena.
The joint program provides students with access to the academic resources of both institutions, international experience, and advanced professional training in the field of law.
