Vietnamese Delegation headed by Tran Dinh Nha, head of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group and Vice Head of the Vietnam National Assembly Committee on National Defense and Security has visited Baku State University. Addressing the guests, rector, academician Abel Maharramov said: “We are very glad that this strong team of teachers, students, and Vietnamese government and party officials was trained in our university”. He noted that at the root of the friendship between Azerbaijan and Vietnam was the national leader Heydar Aliyev, who visited Vietnam in Soviet period. Rector also mentioned  the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Vietnam on 18-19 May 2014, which became outstanding contribution to bilateral relations.  Head of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Tran Din Nha, in turn, expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries.
