Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between BSU and TURKSOY
Baku State University (BSU) and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in cultural and scientific fields.
The memorandum was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Rayev.
The agreement outlines various initiatives, including the organization of research projects on the cultural and scientific heritage of the Turkic world, joint research programs between BSU and TURKSOY faculties, faculty and student exchange programs, and the hosting of international and regional events. BSU will also participate in cultural and artistic events of the Turkic world, organize joint exhibitions, folklore festivals, and cultural days, and establish platforms for information exchange with TURKSOY.
Additionally, the memorandum includes provisions for the development of joint curricula for studying and teaching the Turkic languages, collaborative research and translation of Turkic literature, and other joint projects.
Notably, the agreement also includes plans to establish a TURKSOY department at BSU.
