Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Baku State University and the Turkish University “Ondokuz Mayıs”. Rector of BSU, academician Abel Maharramov said that the Baku State University cooperated with many Turkish universities, and this cooperation provided effective results. The Rector expressed his confidence that the signed memorandum would also promote the cooperation.

According to the Memorandum, the cooperation between Baku State University and Ondokuz Mayıs University can be implemented in the following ways:

• Facilitation of the exchange of researchers, postgraduate and master’s students
• Mutual assistance for the teachers’ scientific qualification improvement
• Exchange of experience in the advanced methods
• Organization of the bilateral joint symposiums, seminars and conferences
• Facilitation of joint projects and programs based upon their mutual interests
• Application of double degree diplomas at Master and PhD levels.

On behalf of Ondokuz Mayıs University the memorandum was signed by rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Akan.
