The rector, academician Abel Maharramov received Mikhail Trunin, the dean of the Moscow Physics Technical İnstitute, on september, 27.

Academician Abel Maharramov gave information about the foundation of the university, its development stages and international relations. Then the academician emphasized its membership with a number of other  Assosiations. During the conversation rector Abel Maharramov especially pointed that Great leader Heydar Alıyev was a well-known graduater and honourable doctor of this university. He noted that Russian president Dmitri Medvedev, the rector of MSU V.A.Sadovnichi are among them  too.  The rector also said that BSU has established bilateral relationships with a lot of Russian universities and is interested in mutual reations with MPT too.

Then spoke M.Trunin, the dean of the General and Applied Physics faculty of MPTİ. He noted that MPTİ is one of the  Russia's leader universities and a great number of students enter to this institute every year. They would like that Azerbaicani  students also get  education in MPT.

Then the Understanding Memorandum  on cooperation was signed between these two universities. This document intends  to  realize reasercher, graduater and master exchange, admission of students to MPTİ on the recommendation of BSU, carrying out scientific experiments in the laboratories of these universities, having scientific reseachers, exchange of experiment scientists and  teachers for improvement of professional skills to organize  joint interested seminars and conferences.

After the signing ceremony guests visited the laboratories and other scientific centers of BSU.
