On June 13, Professor Yildirim Dilek from the University of Miami (USA) will conduct a scientific seminar at Baku State University (BSU).

The seminar, titled "Ophiolites and Global Tectonics: Trends in the Formation of the Oceanic Crust," will take place at the Faculty of Geology.

Professor Y.Dilek holds the position of co-editor at the Geological Society of London and has contributed to high-impact journals published by Elsevier Science, Springer, Taylor & Francis Publisher. With over 30 books and multi-volume publications under their belt, Professor Dilek has authored and co-authored 284 articles.
