Milli Majlis Deputy Sevinj Fataliyeva Delivers Lecture Titled "Heydar Aliyev and Sovereign Azerbaijan"
As part of the "Heydar Aliyev Lectures" project, Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with Milli Majlis deputy Sevinj Fataliyeva.
The event began with remarks by Ramin Samedov, Head of BSU’s Department of Humanitarian Issues and Youth Policy, who spoke about Deputy Fataliyeva’s contributions to public life and emphasized the significance of the "Heydar Aliyev Lectures" initiative at the university.
Following the opening remarks, Sevinj Fataliyeva delivered a lecture titled "Heydar Aliyev and Sovereign Azerbaijan." In her address, she highlighted the achievements of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, shaped by national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully carried forward by President Ilham Aliyev.
Fataliyeva emphasized that Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is consistently guided by its national interests and based on principles of mutually beneficial cooperation. She added that the country’s achievements, including the liberation of occupied territories, have reshaped the regional landscape and enhanced Azerbaijan’s standing in the international community.
She concluded by noting that under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, Azerbaijan is witnessing a remarkable and transformative era in its history.
