Modern Archaeological Analysis Methods Presented at BSU

A scientific seminar titled “Absolute Dating and Physicochemical Methods of Analysis in Archaeology” was held at Baku State University (BSU) with the support of the Archaeology Education and Research Center.

The seminar was presented by Aybeniz Akhadova, a research fellow at the Institute of Physics of the Ministry of Science and Education. She spoke about modern archaeological dating methods, particularly radiocarbon dating, and the application of physicochemical analysis methods in archaeology.

The event highlighted the role of modern technologies in determining the chronological sequence of archaeological materials and discussed the practical advantages of these methods. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion and a Q&A session.
