Workshop for the EC FP7 NAPEP "Nanotechnology platform for Electronics and Photonics"   project was held on 20-25 March 2012 in Szeged city of Hungary.

The next Workshop for the EC FP7 NAPEP - "Nanotechnology platform for Electronics and Photonics"   project was held on 20-25 March 2012 in Szeged city of Hungary. The vice-rector of Baku State University on educational process and teaching technologies Irada Aliyeva, the project Coordinator Mustafa Muradov, leading scientific researcher Goncha Eyvazova, the director of Alten Group Company Elmar Geybatov, master student Department of Physics Aynur Amrahova, master student Department of Chemistry Elvin Malikov and the project participant Asmar Omarova gave  lectures in this seminar. The dean of faculty of Environmental Chemistry and Engineering, the project co-coordinator from Szeged University Zoltan Konya, the professor of Szeged University Akos Kukovecz, the project co-coordinator Krisztian Kordas from Oulu University (Finland) and the students and investigators from  partner universities also was participated in this seminar.

Professor Irada Aliyeva in her lecture talks about scientific potential, material-technical base and prospects of development of Baku State University.

The project Coordinator Mustafa Muradov in his lecture was analyzed the scientific-research works which caring out in partner universities. He noted the possibility of the joint   research projects on area nano engineering and surface modification methods. During the discussions it was decided the preparation of joint projects for EC FP7 calls.

The director of Alten Group Company Elmar Geybatov talked about the area of use of alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan and the prospects development of scientific industry. The speech was led to great interest. The Workshop participants was discussed the possibility of  participation this company as a representative of small and medium-sized businesses(SME) in joint projects of  European Commission.

A group of workshop participants (Q.M.Eyvazova and E.Malikov) began carrying out experiments which planned between Baku State University and Szeged University.

In workshop was also discussed the plan of scientific-research works in future between partner universities,  joint projects for European Commission FP7 and the Memorandum between Baku State University and Szeged University.
