National Observatory Representative Delivers Lecture at BSU
A lecture titled “The Current State and Prospects of the Labor Market” was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University (BSU).
The session was conducted by Ali Tagizade, an employee of the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The discussion focused on key global trends, including digitalization, artificial intelligence, the green economy, and the transformation of professional structures. Tagizade introduced the concept of “Professions of the Future” based on insights from the World Economic Forum, noting that demand will continue to grow in fields such as sustainable development, cybersecurity, AI, social innovation, and human resource management.
He also emphasized the increasing importance of soft skills — communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving — alongside technical expertise. Participants were informed about current labor market needs in Azerbaijan, particularly in information technology, social services, education, and industry.
