Structural reforms are being carried out at Baku State University (BSU) in order to increase efficiency, optimize and improve management in the organization of teaching and scientific activities.

Within the framework of structural reforms, the Department of Master's and Doctoral Studies was abolished. On its basis, the Doctorate Department at the Center for Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations and the Master's Department at the Center for Organization and Management of Teaching were established.
