Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology at Baku State University (BSU) will implement a new master's program in the specialization "Methods and Methodology of Corrective Education."

This specialization will offer significant opportunities for graduates who have obtained a bachelor's degree in corrective education and other related fields. It is crucial to study ways to assess conditions, provide pedagogical and psychological assistance, and offer treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities.

Graduate students will first learn the basics of methodological work in corrective education with children who have learning difficulties, their psychological and pedagogical characteristics, and master methods of working with children with autism, musculoskeletal disorders, severe physical and mental disabilities, hearing, speech, and vision impairments, as well as their families and individuals with developmental delays.
