Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Jahangirzadeh and Head of the Iranian Cultural Center  Ibrahim Ibrahimi have visited Baku State University to meet its rector, academician Abel Maharramov.

Hailing relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, Rector Abel Maharramov said that the bilateral ties between BSU and Iranian universities are rapidly developing in all areas.  Academician Abel Maharramov  highly appreciated the support of the Embassy and the Iranian Cultural Center in the implementation of the many joint projects.
