Newly appointed ambassador of Cuba Omar Senon Medina Kintero and ambassador of  Turkey Alper Coskun visited Baku State University to meet its rector, academician  Abel Maharramov. Mr. Maharramov highlighted the university`s activities, particularly its international programs and noted that the BSU was interested in cooperation with the universities of Cuba and Turkey in the relevant direction.

Rector Abel Maharramov expressed his hope that with his role and prestige, the ambassadors will make more contributions to strengthening the two countries’ relationship. After the meeting ambassadors viewed the teaching and scientific-research laboratories of the BSU.
