Oriental Studies Faculty Hosts Master Class on "Scientific-Theoretical, Philological Thought of the East and Its Poetic Field"

The Faculty of Oriental Studies at Baku State University (BSU) organized a special event dedicated to March 27—"Science Day" in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Nigar Ismailzade, highlighted the significance of "Science Day" as a testament to the country's commitment to the advancement and popularization of science. She provided an overview of recent initiatives aimed at elevating the prestige of science, enhancing its role in societal development, and fostering scientific achievements within the faculty. Emphasizing the importance of academic engagement, she underscored the faculty's dedication to hosting regular conferences, master classes, and seminars.

As part of the event, a master class was conducted by Tarlan Guliyev, head of the department at the Baku Music Academy named after U. Hajibeyli and a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Philology. His session focused on "Eastern Scientific-Theoretical, Philological Thought and Its Poetic Field."

The event also featured remarks from faculty department heads, including Vugar Garadagly, Rufat Rustamov, and Ogtay Jalilbeyli, who contributed valuable insights to the discussion.
