Pakistani Scientist Delivers Lecture at BSU
Professor Muhammad Zafar from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan, delivered a lecture titled "Possibilities of Using Plants as a Source of Bioenergy" at Baku State University (BSU).
The event was attended by faculty members and students from the Faculty of Biology, Ecology, and Soil Science, as well as the SABAH group. During his lecture, Professor Zafar discussed the ethnobotanical characteristics of plants, their potential as bioenergy sources, and methodologies for producing biodiesel fuel from plant seeds. He also highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of these approaches and their various applications.
In addition, the professor presented new research perspectives on the topic. Following the presentation, attendees engaged in discussions on the development of bioenergy sources and sustainable energy solutions.
