A scientific paper “Metrics and connections on the bundle of affinor frames” by Professor Arif Selimov, Department of Algebra and Geometry, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Baku State University (BSU) co-authored by Associate Professor Habil Fattayev, Department of Algebra and Geometry, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, BSU was published in “Chinese Annals of Mathematics, Series B” (https://www.springer.com/journal/11401).
In this paper the authors consider the bundle of affinor frames over a smooth manifold, define the Sasaki metric on this bundle, and investigate the Levi-Civita connection of Sasaki metric. Also the authors determine the horizontal lifts of symmetric linear connection from a manifold to the bundle of affinor frames and study the geodesic curves corresponding to the horizontal lift of the linear connection.
“Chinese Annals of Mathematics, Series B” is a peer-reviewed mathematics journal focusing on pure and applied mathematics published by Springer. The journal was founded in 1983 when it was split from Chinese Annals of Mathematics. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2019 impact factor of 0,586.
