The President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Hasan Mandal, visited Baku State University (BSU) to meet with its Rector, Elchin Babayev.

Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the strengthening of the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood, noting the successful integration of both countries in the fields of science and education. He highlighted the importance of signing a protocol of intent between the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and TÜBİTAK. Elchin Babayev believes that collaborating with TÜBİTAK will enhance BSU's involvement in international projects. TÜBİTAK will implement projects in 20 different areas, and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan, including BSU, are expected to participate in these projects.

TÜBİTAK President Hasan Mandal emphasized the significant role of international cooperation in the development of science and education, highlighting the mutual benefits for both countries through this project. During the meeting, the guest provided detailed information to the participants about the projects and initiatives that TÜBİTAK will be implementing.
