Hasan Mandal, President the Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), visited Baku State University to meet with faculty members.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev delivered an opening speech at the event, emphasizing that Baku State University is currently involved in 7 TÜBİTAK projects. Additionally, three projects in the fields of mathematics, chemistry, and biology are currently underway in collaboration with TÜBİTAK.

President Hasan Mandal provided participants with detailed information about the institution's mission, ongoing projects, and strategic directions in his address.

The Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) is a national agency of Türkiye whose stated goal is to develop "science, technology and innovation" (STI) policies, support and conduct research and development, and to "play a leading role in the creation of a science and technology culture" in the country.
