Dr Amin Sharifi, lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Criminology, University College Cork, Ireland has delivered lecture at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University.

Dr Amin Sharifi talked about the role of various elements of culture (language, traditions, religion, etc.) in the development of society. He stated that language and other values can lead to the integration or division of different societies. The scholar, who discussed the differences between cultural globalization, material culture, and spiritual culture, emphasized the importance of preserving norms, morality, and rules in society.
