Professor Dilara Seyidzade Holds Master Class for BSU Students
A master class titled “The Role of Women in Protecting Family Values” was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University (BSU) as part of events dedicated to March 27 – Science Day. The session was conducted by Professor Dilara Seyidzade.
Deputy Dean Nezaket Kerimova and Head of the Department of Gender and Applied Psychology Rena Ibrahimbeyova noted that Dilara Seyidzade had long served alongside the national leader Heydar Aliyev and is widely respected for her leadership skills and extensive life experience. They emphasized that the meeting would provide valuable insights for both students and faculty members.
In her remarks, Professor Seyidzade highlighted Heydar Aliyev’s significant attention to women’s rights and gender equality in Azerbaijan, noting that important legal and socio-political foundations were established under his leadership.
She also stressed the important role of women in family and social life, emphasizing that modern women successfully combine family responsibilities with active participation in public life. Addressing psychology students, she noted their special responsibility in promoting and protecting family values.
The event concluded with a discussion, during which Professor Seyidzade answered questions from participants.
