Professor Vera Opatova, from Charles University in the Czech Republic, held a scientific seminar on the topic of 'Modern Methods in Zoological Research' at the Faculty of Biology, Baku State University (BSU). The seminar was attended by Martin Lubojacki, the First Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Shahin Panahov, BSU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Afet Mamedova, the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Baku State University, Miroslav Svatora, Professor at the Department of Zoology, Charles University as well as teachers and students from the faculty.

During the seminar, Martin Lubojacki, Shahin Panahov, and Afet Mamedova expressed their appreciation for the ongoing cooperation between Charles University and BSU, highlighting the new opportunities it offers to young people. Professor Miroslav Svatora emphasized that there has been nearly 50 years of cooperation between his university and the Faculty of Biology at BSU.
