Professor Nadir Mammadli Holds Master Class at BSU
A master class titled “Business and Academic Communication in the Azerbaijani Language” was delivered at Baku State University (BSU) by Professor Nadir Mammadli, Director of the Nasimi Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The event was dedicated to March 27 – Science Day.
Opening the event, Sevinj Aliyeva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, noted the important role of science in shaping society and introduced the guest speaker, highlighting Professor Mammadli’s extensive academic and scholarly contributions.
During the lecture, Professor Mammadli emphasized the importance of clear, correct, and terminologically precise use of the Azerbaijani language in academic and business communication. He noted that adherence to linguistic norms helps present scientific ideas more systematically and effectively.
The professor also spoke about the importance of the Turkological Congress in strengthening scientific cooperation within the Turkic world and promoting the study of common linguistic and cultural heritage.
Dean of the Faculty Vugar Aliyev highlighted the value of such meetings in shaping students’ academic outlook. The event concluded with a discussion and a Q&A session with students.
