Professor of Kumamoto University (Japan) visits BSU
Rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov has received Hirotaka Ihara, Professor of Kumamoto University in the field of Applied Chemistry & Biochemistry.
Rector expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between the countries in various fields, as well as between the universities and noted the need for the further expansion and intensification of those relations.
The meeting focused on the establishment of the partnership approach between Baku State University and Kumamoto University in the areas such as exchange of students and scientist.
Then Hirotaka Ihara visited the Nano Research Laboratory of Baku State University to meet with Dean of Physical Faculty, Professor Muhammad Ramazanov. Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting, including the training of masters and doctoral students. The parties discussed the research work carried out by Almara Rahimli, PhD student of BSU, during her visit to Japan.
