Anar Isgenderli’s book "Realities of Azerbaijan: 1917-1920" was published in the United States. Anar Isgenderli is a professor of history and a faculty chair at Baku State University. Preface of the book was written by famous expert on Turkish-Armenian relations, professor Justin McCarthy.
"Realities of Azerbaijan: 1917-1920" analyzed the following events: resettlement of Armenians in South Caucasus, their activities in Ottoman Empire, Special Transcaucasian Committee, the Transcaucasian Commissariat, the Transcaucasian Sejm, massacres of Azerbaijani civilians by Armenian military in different regions of Azerbaijan in 1918-1920, Tbilisi and Ganja periods of ADR, the liberation march of the Caucasus Islamic Army, the Baku Council of the People's Commissars, the occupation of Baku by the British troops, the organization of the Azerbaijani parliament, domestic and foreign policies of ADR, the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Paris Peace Conference, the occupation of Baku by Soviet Russia and others.
"Realities of Azerbaijan: 1917-1920" introduces readers to the real events in Azerbaijan. The book was presented to the most authoritative organizations of the United States, including the Library of Congress.
