Today rector of Baku State University (BSU) Abel Maharramov has received Pakistani Ambassador in Azerbaijan Inayatullah Kakar. At the meeting the sides noted that eastern languages are taught at the university, including Urdu which has been so far learned by 56 Bachelors and 4 Masters. The meeting also involved discussion of issues of mutual interest, in particular innovation related directions of science. The Ambassador gifted the university a book and other technical aids , necessary to study Urdu spoken in Pakistan.
