Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev met with Murat Koç, Rector of Çağ University in Türkiye.

During the meeting, Rector Elchin Babayev briefed the guest on BSU’s educational and scientific activities, as well as its international collaborations. He highlighted BSU’s close cooperation with Turkic-speaking countries, including leading universities in fraternal Türkiye, and noted the wide opportunities for collaboration with Çağ University in fields such as law, international relations, philology, and psychology. He emphasized that both universities could conduct joint scientific research, establish dual degree programs, and implement joint projects and events.

Rector Murat Koç expressed interest in enhancing integration with universities of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, particularly with universities in Azerbaijan. He underlined the importance of cooperation with BSU as a key institution within Azerbaijan’s higher education system.

The meeting also included discussions on student and faculty exchange programs, joint projects, participation in international programs, and the organization of collaborative scientific events.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between BSU and Çağ University was signed.
