Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has met with Rector of Bukhara State University, Uzbekistan Obidjon Khamidov.

The parties discussed the issues of cooperation between BSU and Bukhara State University.

Rector Elchin Babayev said that BSU is preparing to receive the status of "Research University". He informed about the newly created research laboratories and scientific centers at BSU and the Center for Student Scientific and Technical Creativity. Elchin Babayev also shared information about the double degree programs and international relationships.

Obidjon Khamidov,  Rector of the Bukhara State University noted the importance of the exchange of experience and drew attention to the possibilities of integration in the field of history and archeology.
