BSU Rector Elchin Babayev has met with Yanina Chigovskaya – Nazarova, Rector of the Glazov State Pedagogical Institute named after V.G. Korolenko, the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation.

Rector Elchin Babayev informed the delegation on stages of development of Baku State University, its international relations and co-operation as well as double degree programs.  He stressed that BSU has 1 international department - the UNESCO Chair on Human Rights and Information Law, 2 international institutes - the Confucius Institute (China) and Baku King Sejong Institute (Korea) and 3 international centers - the Kazakh Center named after Abay Kunanbayev , Azerbaijan-Korean Center for Information Support and Russian Center.

Yanina Chigovskaya – Nazarova, Rector of  Glazov State Pedagogical Institute, in turn, emphasized the interest in establishing close ties with Azerbaijani universities.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between BSU and the Glazov State Pedagogical Institute.
