Elchin Babaev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), met with Mehmet Gavgali, Rector of Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University in Türkiye.

Rector Elchin Babaev informed the guest about the history, structure, educational, and scientific activities of BSU. He noted that in recent years, BSU has expanded its international relations, signed double-degree programs, and cooperation agreements with universities from various countries worldwide. Elchin Babaev emphasized that expanding cooperation with brotherly Türkiye's universities is a priority for BSU.

In response, Rector Mehmet Gavgali provided information about the Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University. He mentioned that the university has 11 faculties, with 22,000 students studying under the guidance of 1,300 instructors. Mehmet Gavgali underscored the potential for collaboration between his university and BSU in various fields.
