Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev met with Rector of Marmara University of the Republic of Türkiye Mustafa Kurt.

Rector Elchin Babayev informed the guest about the teaching, scientific activities, and international relations of the 105-year-old BSU. He mentioned that BSU closely collaborates with Turkic-speaking countries, including the most renowned universities of brotherly Turkey. Elchin Babayev noted that both universities could sign dual degree programs in various fields of science, implement joint projects, and events.

Rector of Marmara University Mustafa Kurt expressed confidence that the cooperation between the universities of both countries would benefit the development of their brotherly nations. He highly appreciated Marmara University's capabilities in participating in international research projects and creating a joint research center with BSU.

The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between the two universities.
