A delegation headed by Mukhiddin Pulatov, Rector of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Uzbekistan), visited Baku State University (BSU).

Welcoming the guests, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the university’s growing cooperation with Uzbek higher education institutions in recent years. He noted that BSU has signed multiple agreements with universities in Uzbekistan and is successfully implementing student and faculty exchange programs. According to him, joint projects and research initiatives help strengthen the region’s scientific potential and improve the quality of education. He also underlined opportunities for developing joint programs in economics and geographical tourism, as well as for participating together in various international projects.

For his part, Mukhiddin Pulatov expressed keen interest in further deepening cooperation with BSU.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding bilateral ties, accelerating internationalization efforts, and organizing additional exchange programs for students and faculty.
