Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU) met with Alim Yildiz, Rector of Sivas Republican University in Türkiye.

Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the positive development of relations between BSU and the universities in brotherly Türkiye. He mentioned that the collaboration with Sivas Republican University continues under the Memorandum of Understanding and the "Erasmus+ KA 171" program, with plans underway for a double diploma program in physics. The rector reminded that there are opportunities for collaboration in the fields of computer science, biotechnology, chemistry, mathematics, ecology, history, and literature. Elchin Babayev highlighted the potential for joint research and projects in these areas between BSU and Sivas Republican University.

Rector Alim Yildiz expressed the need for collaborative projects with BSU, particularly emphasizing teacher and student exchanges and the expansion of scientific research.

The meeting involved an exchange of opinions on matters of mutual interest.
