Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has met with Rector of the University of Diplomacy of Uzbekistan Elyor Makhmudov.

Rector Elchin Babayev shared information about the history, activities and structure of BSU - the first and largest university in Azerbaijan. The rector emphasized that BSU attaches great importance to relations with universities of Turkic-speaking countries and scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The rector of the University of Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, Elyor Makhmudov, expressed confidence that joint projects in the field of science and education would benefit the development of both universities.

The rectors discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two universities.
