The regular workshop has been held in Heydar Aliyev school at the Baku State University. The workshop was devoted to the 88 th anniversary of the national leader. The rector, academician Abel Maharramov told about the historical merits of Heydar Aliyev, his reforms in politics, economy, science and education and other fields. Abel Maharramov emphasized the care and attention shown by Heydar Aliyev to science and education. He noted: “Today the head of the Azerbaijan is Ilham Aliyev, a well-deserved successor of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s way”.
Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov made a presentation "Geopolitics of Heydar Aliyev: key challenges and prospects of Azerbaijan Geopolitics”. Ali Hasanov noted the indispensable role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the creation, development and worldwide recognition of the independent Azerbaijan. Speaker said that only through the wisdom and foresight of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan could achieve such tremendous progress in the short term.
At the end of the event some BSU students and staff were adopted to the New Azerbaijan Party.
