Baku State University (BSU) recently hosted an international seminar attended by students from the Faculties of International Relations, Economics, and Law.

The event featured distinguished speakers from China, including Professor Wang Wen, Dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University, and Professor Pan Qingzhong, Executive Dean of Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University.

Professor Wang Wen delivered a keynote address on "China's New Perspective on Global Changes and Future Cooperation between China and Azerbaijan." He provided in-depth insights into China's economic development, ongoing reforms, and evolving geopolitical and socio-economic strategies amid global transformations. He emphasized that Azerbaijan-China relations, which are of strategic importance, continue to strengthen across political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian domains.

Professor Pan Qingzhong shared an overview of China's higher education system and the country's historical development, offering students a broader understanding of academic and socio-economic advancements in China.

The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.
